The term ‘Rise & Grain’ (“we”, “us” or “our”) refers to the owner of the website and brand owned by A Cake Empire (Company registration: IP0425058-U). The term “you” or “your” refers to the user or viewer of our website. 

Delivery Policy

General Information

Since all our products are freshly made, it typically takes 5-7 business days for orders to get to our domestic customers. As soon as your orders are processed, we will ship them out to you and send you a link to track your package of goodness.

Please note: We use external delivery service providers to send our products. Hence, any damage/loss/delay upon shipment will not be hekd responsible by us.

Delivery Location

Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in Peninsular Malaysia (not including Sabah, Sarawak and Federal Territory of Labuan). Any shipments outside of Peninsular Malaysia are not available at this time.

Late Delivery

If at any time the delivery service provider are prevented or delayed from starting, carrying out or completing any of the services because of a strike, lock out, labour dispute, weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown or obstruction of any public or private road or highway or any other cause beyond their control, you shall have no claim for damages against us for any loss that you may suffer as a result. In the event the delay is caused by the mechanical breakdown of courier vehicles, the delivery service provider shall use their best endeavours to provide a replacement vehicle with the minimum delay practicable.

Refund Policy

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item received does not match the item purchased. If you receive the wrong item, please contact us here with details of the product purchased and received. Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a refund in credits (Grain Points) or a replacement as a result of the order mismatch. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund in credits, we will replace the product or refund in credits the purchase price, using the original method of payment. 

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded in credits will not include the cost of shipping.”
